How Do I Update My Profile (email address, phone #, etc.)

You may need to update your membership profile if your email address changed, you recently moved, or your phone number has changed from when you originally joined or last renewed your membership.


The email address that you used when initially registering your membership is the one that is used for your forum account and in our MailChimp system to send you the TVAUG Weekly News, announcements and upcoming meeting info, and to send your membership renewal reminders.

That address in your profile feeds all our systems. The process to update it is pretty straight-forward.


Go to our membership site at (that’s TVAUG.NET not this .ORG site).  We will soon be merging it into this site but for now it is still a separate site.


Click on Member Log In and you will see a screen like the one below:

Enter your Username or email address and Password.  If you forgot your password, just click on the “Lost your Password?” link and an email will be sent to you for resetting it.

NOTE: Some email providers like Embarqmail, CenturyLink and others may think that email is Spam.  So check your Spam or Junk folder if you don’t see it within a couple of minutes.

After logging in, click on the MY ACCOUNT button:


Here is where you can update your contact info as shown in the screenshots below.
NOTE: Under your name on the right-hand side it shows your Renewal Date or a message saying your membership date has expired and is up for renewal.  Details for renewing your membership is covered in the FAQ here.







After making whatever changes you need to do, be sure to click
      Save All Changes!
